About the Role: As the CBRE Compliance Manager, Global Capital Markets & ESG, you will operationalize and execute the compliance framework for CBRE’s highly regulated Capital Markets activities and support ESG regulatory readiness. You will leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance monitoring, reporting, and regulatory change processes while maintaining full accountability for compliance execution, judgment, and governance.
This job is part of the Legal Compliance job function. They are responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance that balances business and compliance solutions to inform the company of options and risks.
AI-Enabled Role Design This role has been designed in alignment with enterprise cost discipline expectations, incorporating an AI-first lens. AI will be used to enhance efficiency in regulatory change monitoring, policy drafting, data analysis, and reporting; however, core compliance responsibilities require human judgment, regulatory accountability, and governance oversight.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Relevant experience required; SEC, FINRA, and CFTC requirements. Knowledge of other corporate and industry standards. Familiarity with compliance frameworks for highly regulated activities, particularly in Capital Markets.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

AI-Augmented Activities
Regulatory change monitoring and summarization.
Policy and procedure drafting support.
Data aggregation, surveillance, and dashboard generation.
Training content development.
Human-Owned Responsibilities
Regulatory interpretation and application of SEC / FINRA / CFTC requirements.
Corporate and industry standard recognition and related application to the business.
Audit defense and regulator interaction.
Compliance decision-making in deal, conflict, and disclosure scenarios.
Ownership of compliance monitoring, testing, and certification activities.
Stakeholder engagement and governance participation.
Investigation coordination and execution. Explain and defend findings. Draft investigation reports and provide recommendations and corrective action to leadership.
Program assessment and audit effort support. Develop audit templates and manage calendar, progress, and assign resources.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Key Responsibilities
Work with departmental management to identify and prioritize roll outs of a risk assessment program.
Evaluate risk in certain compliance areas across assigned businesses. Counsel business on the assessment process and educate on exposure. Identify gaps in and provide remediation of compliance policy and procedures.
Implement regulatory change management including changes to ESG requirements, into business processes.
Assist with the development, roll out, and maintenance of functional policies, procedures, compliance documentation, and processes.
Confirm all follow acceptable practices and relevant external regulations globally. Be guided by policies and department plans.
Develop and deliver compliance training and communications.
Produce compliance dashboards, KPIs, and governance reporting.
Drive issue management, remediation, and cross-functional coordination.
Ensure appropriate governance over AI-enabled compliance processes.
