Teamwork partnership is looking for a reliable and motivated We are looking for a reliable and motivated Operation Team Member with FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our busy manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced production and yard environment, ensuring the safe movement, storage, and dispatch of brick products while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
You'll work a 3-week rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Week 3: 8:00pm – 6:00am (40 hours worked over 4 days with Friday off)
Monday to Friday rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks safely and efficiently.
- Remove packs of bricks from the packaging line.
- Load and unload lorries safely and on schedule.
- Check finished packs for quality before storage or dispatch.
- Complete daily FLT safety and operational inspections.
- Report any equipment defects, damaged stock, or safety concerns.
- Repackage stock when required.
- Support general yard duties and housekeeping.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Follow all site Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain efficient site operations.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate (essential).
- Previous FLT experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or busy yard environment.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, particularly around mobile plant and pedestrian safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to support wider site operations.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
