Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick items from designated storage locations using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely to move heavy loads within the warehouse
- Prepare orders by packing items securely for shipping, verifying quantities and quality standards
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access for team members
- Conduct quality control checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and damage-free products
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation, labeling, and tracking shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus
- Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software enhances productivity but is not mandatory
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude helps in troubleshooting equipment issues quickly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, and quality control procedures
- Comfortable working during evening hours in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
