Job Summary
We are seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated Barista/Front of House Staff to join our team working approx 8-24 hours per week to work over the summer until September.
Responsibilities
- Great and seat customers in a warm, welcoming manner.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about dishes, ingredients and allergens.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring presentation meets house standards.
- Check back with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any complaints promptly and professionally.
- Process bills and handle cash/card transactions.
- Clear and reset tables quickly and maintain a clean, organised dining area,
- Follow health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support colleagues and work as part of a team to deliver smooth service.
- Ensure bar area is clean, tidy and presentable.
- Ensure all communal areas such as toilets and stair ways are clean, stocked and presentable at all times.
Skills
- Previous hospitality or barista experience
- Friendly, approachable and great with people
- Good communication and listening skills
- Able to work well in a small team and help out where needed
- Comfortable working in a busy environment and staying organised
