Your next role
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking HR Operations Manager to lead our HR Operations (Colleague Experience Centre) team and help shape an outstanding employee experience across Swindon Borough Council.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering high quality, customer focused HR services across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading a team of HR professionals, you will drive operational excellence across recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee relations support, payroll inputs, HR systems and compliance activity.
As a member of the HR Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to influence service delivery, workforce strategy and organisational improvement. You will use insight, technology and data to enhance performance, streamline processes and ensure managers receive timely, pragmatic support that enables effective people management.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams through change, building strong stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement in a complex organisation.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
