Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Damp, Timber and Mould Surveyor, preferably with CSRT accreditation, to join our specialised team. This role involves assessing properties for dampness, timber decay, and mould growth, providing expert analysis to support remediation strategies. The successful candidate will possess strong analysis skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate reporting and effective solutions for our clients. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive surveys of residential and commercial properties to identify issues related to dampness, timber decay, and mould growth.
- Utilise specialised equipment to detect moisture levels and assess the extent of damage or contamination.
- Analyse survey findings meticulously to determine root causes and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, analysis, and suggested solutions in clear, professional language.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate survey results effectively.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements relevant to damp and mould assessment.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and analyses performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in damp, timber, and mould surveying; CSRT/CSSW accreditation is preferred.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple surveys efficiently.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members professionally.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations within property inspection environments.
- Valid driving licence is required for site visits across various locations.
