Responsibilities
- Support residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, always respecting their preferences and dignity
- Assist in developing and following personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear communication with team members, clients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare professionals
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to operate IT systems for documentation and care planning purposes
- Valid driving license with experience in driving for home care or transport services is highly desirable
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential—training will be provided if needed
- Knowledge of creating and following care plans to ensure consistent support tailored to individual needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good understanding of health and safety standards within healthcare environments
