The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs, and Learning Difficulties.
- Work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help students achieve their full potential.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual student needs.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care or youth work experience welcomed).
- A caring, patient and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed
