Duties
- Delivering high-quality hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
- Providing personalised consultations to understand clients’ desired looks and offer expert advice
- Maintaining a clean and organised work station in accordance with health and safety standards
- Building strong relationships with clients through friendly and professional communication
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times
- Ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sterilised and maintained
- Promoting additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling or barbering, with relevant qualifications or certifications preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when needed
- Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail in all aspects of work
- Previous experience in a salon or barber shop environment is advantageous but not essential for motivated learners
