We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join our Wet Prep team!
In this hands-on role, you'll play an important part in the preparation and packaging of a variety of products, including sauces and marinades, helping us deliver high-quality products to our customers.
You'll be responsible for following production plans, accurately portioning and labelling products, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the process. The role also involves preparing vegetables through dicing and slicing, using both knives and specialist machinery. Full training will be provided to ensure you can work safely and confidently with all equipment.
Working in a fast-paced production environment, you'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to follow processes accurately. By maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are prepared consistently and to the highest standard.

Shifts: 5 days a week (including weekends), 7am - 4pm
Salary: £27,293 per annum
Time Off: 30 days holiday + 22 additional days off
What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare and portion sauces and marinades according to daily production plans.

Preparation of vegetables including, dicing, slicing using knives and machinery

Meeting daily targets as set by the business
- Quality checking products to ensure high standards
- Accurately label and package products

Remain flexible to support other areas of production when required
- Maintain high levels of house keeping, ensuring food hygiene standards are adhered to
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene when handling products including hand washing, PPE use and accurate illness reporting
- Experience in a food environment (Desired)

Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (Desired)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Has the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Good computer skills
- Able to lift items up to 25kg
