We are a growing, IAA Level 1 immigration & Asylum practice seeking an experienced IAA Level 2 or Level 3 Immigration Adviser to act as our designated Supervisor and Mentor. This is a unique opportunity to support a committed Level 1 adviser in progressing to Level 2 authorisation through a formal IAA-approved supervision arrangement.
The role is flexible and part-time, designed to fit around your existing commitments. You would provide supervision and mentoring over an initial six-month period while the supervisee gains the required Level 2 experience.

- Supervision of Level 2 Casework: Overseeing the supervisee's work on more complex immigration cases, including applications outside the Immigration Rules and substantive asylum applications (excluding presenting appeals in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber).
- File Reviews: Conducting regular, documented file reviews in accordance with IAA requirements.
- Supervision Log: Maintaining a formal Supervision Log Book as a record of all supervision discussions and file reviews.
- Accessibility: Being readily available for guidance and case discussions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all advice and casework complies with the IAA's Code of Standards.
- Supervision Declaration: Signing the IAA Supervision Declaration confirming you understand your obligations and will only supervise within your authorised level and category.
