Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our team in the food production industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Assist in the training of new staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proven experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Some to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and record-keeping.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
