Cobbled Lane, an independent bookshop and deli in Culross, is looking for someone to join the team with coffee at the heart of the role. You'll be our main barista — but in a small independent, no two hours look the same: you'll also be serving across the counter, helping with the deli, and pointing customers around the shop. Busy and varied, with a real summer rush and a loyal local trade the rest of the year.
You don't need to be a seasoned barista. Solid coffee experience is great; if you're keen and quick to learn, we'll train you on the machine. What matters most is being warm with customers and steady when it's busy.
This is a permanent role averaging around 35 hours a week, flexing with the seasons — busier in summer, quieter in winter.
Pay: £13/hour.
