Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the team during busy service periods, including serving customers when required
- Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and stock levels are monitored
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist with inventory checks and assist in ordering supplies as needed
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests through excellent service
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable
- Serving experience is an advantage, ensuring excellent customer interaction
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and work hours as required
