The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role working on busy industrial and logistics sites covering our clients area's nationwide, where safety, reliability, and professionalism are essential.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services, ensuring our clients’ operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a range of industrial and specialist door systems
- Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs
- Replace components and parts as required
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations
- Accurately complete job reports and documentation
- Maintain professional communication with clients on site
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working with industrial, automatic, sectional, specialist or high-speed doors, and dock levellers
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding ability
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Confident communicator with a professional approach
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Must be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
Desirable:
- Industry qualifications or relevant training
- Experience working within logistics or warehouse environments
- Knowledge of health & safety practices in industrial settings
