Volunteer Cleaner

Are you looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community? Compton Care is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Volunteer Cleaner to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our retail store.
This is a valuable opportunity to be part of a friendly and dedicated team, supporting vital income generation that enables us to provide extraordinary care for people living with complex or incurable conditions and their families.
In this role, you will support the store management team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the shop. You will be responsible for ensuring that the shop floor, welfare areas, and customer spaces remain tidy and hygienic, helping to create a pleasant experience for everyone who visits or works in the store. You will also contribute to maintaining health and safety standards by reporting any issues and supporting general housekeeping across shared areas.
The role offers a flexible approach to volunteering and the chance to develop new skills while working alongside a supportive team.
We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is willing to learn and contribute to the smooth running of the store. You should be a team player who is respectful of others and committed to our values. An interest in the work of Compton Care and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner are essential. While previous cleaning experience and knowledge of health and safety or manual handling are beneficial, they are not required.
