We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our lovely vibrant school based in Bath. The core duties of the Primary School Teacher will encompass instruction, classroom management, assessment, and professional collaboration.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
- Employ effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Provide individual tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and special education staff to support students with diverse needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages respect, responsibility, and resilience among students.
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching at a primary school is desired but some Teaching experience is essential.
- Strong background in special education is advantageous, with an understanding of how to accommodate various learning styles.
- Demonstrate ability in behaviour management techniques that promote a positive classroom environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: You'll need a degree or equivalent in, or closely related to, the subject you want to teach.
- GCSEs: You need a grade 4 (C) or above in both English and maths GCSEs.
- Teacher training: You must complete an initial teacher training (ITT) program to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This can be done via a postgraduate route, such as a PGCE, or through an undergraduate degree that includes teacher training.
