We are looking for an organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Property Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants alike.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience successfully managing a residential property portfolio
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Confidence handling maintenance issues, compliance, and tenancy matters independently
- Experience using property management software (Jupix experience preferred but not essential)
- A full UK driving licence
The Role
This is a varied and fast-paced Property Management role within a growing independent estate agency, where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include:
- Managing maintenance issues efficiently with a practical and common-sense approach
- Acting as the main liaison between landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Organising inspections and managing inspector schedules
- Handling deposit disputes and tenancy check-outs
- Managing compliance, certificates, renewals, and landlord licensing requirements
- Monitoring arrears and maintaining accurate communication records
- Supporting landlords and tenants with day-to-day queries and tenancy matters
- Checking, authorising, and processing invoices
- Ensuring properties are maintained, compliant, and professionally managed at all times

- 8:30am – 6:00pm
- Based in Colchester, Essex
Essential Requirements
- Previous residential property management experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Positive, motivated, and professional attitude
- Ability to manage workload independently and efficiently
