Property Assistant
Who We Are
Umega Lettings and Estate Agents is an award-winning, forward-thinking property company with ambitious growth plans across the private residential lettings sector. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences, building strong relationships, and doing things differently.
Our team is energetic, collaborative, and passionate about property, and we're looking for someone who shares that mindset.
The Role
We're on the hunt for a fast-paced, super-organised Property Assistant to join our team. This is a busy, varied administrative role where you'll be handling high volumes of data and processes every single day. You'll work closely with colleagues across different parts of the business, picking up admin tasks wherever they're needed most, so no two days will look exactly the same.
This is a hands-on administrative role rather than a specialist one, it's all about speed, precision and reliability. You'll be someone who thrives on detail heavy, high volume work, who can process things accurately even when the pressure's on, and who takes real pride in getting the small things right, every time.
Who We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
- Extremely detail focused, with a genuinely meticulous approach, you naturally double-check your own work and rarely let things slip through
- Comfortable working at pace, in a busy and varied environment, without accuracy dropping off
- Confident with high volume data entry and administrative processing, and happy with repetitive tasks that demand sustained concentration
- Resilient and persistent, someone who can have direct conversations professionally and doesn't shy away from following things up
- Well organised, with a methodical approach to managing a busy and constantly moving workload
- Adaptable and flexible, happy to move between different tasks and teams as priorities shift
- A clear, professional communicator, both written and verbal
- Tech-savvy and quick to pick up new systems and software
- A team player who's also confident working independently and taking ownership of their own workload
- Calm under pressure and comfortable with deadlines
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Process high volumes of data accurately across our property management systems
- Support colleagues across different teams with day-to-day admin, jumping in wherever the priority is
- Keep records, files and systems up to date, accurate and audit ready
- Handle correspondence and follow ups professionally, chasing information when it's needed
- Assist with the admin behind tenancies, compliance and property processes
- Spot and flag errors or inconsistencies before they become problems
- Take on ad hoc administrative projects as the business grows and changes
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of two years' experience in an office, administration, or high-volume processing role
- Proven track record of accuracy and reliability in detail heavy work
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident using systems and quick to adapt to new software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience in a property, lettings, or administration setting
- Knowledge of the property market
- Familiarity with software such as Slack, Front, Reapit, PayProp and Excel
About You
You're the kind of person who gets a genuine kick out of a job done properly, a tidy inbox, a fully reconciled spreadsheet, a to-do list cleared by 5pm. You don't get flustered when the workload piles up; if anything, you thrive on it. You take ownership of your tasks, you follow things through to the end, and you're just as happy working independently as you are pitching in to help a teammate under pressure.
The Team
You'll be joining a close knit, energetic team who genuinely enjoy what they do and support each other to get things right. Whatever part of the business you're helping on any given day, you'll always have people around you happy to answer questions, share shortcuts, and help you get up to speed.
Why Join Us?
You'll be joining a growing, award winning company where your ideas are valued and your development is supported. Expect variety, a great team around you, and the satisfaction of knowing that the little things you get right every day keep the whole business running smoothly.

Send us your CV to [email protected] along with a stand-out cover letter telling us why you'd be a great fit for the role. We're looking for personality, precision, and professionalism — show us what you can bring to the team.
