Whether you're starting out or starting something new, this is an opportunity to build skills, gain a qualification and discover where they could take you.
As our Apprentice Administrator, you'll begin a new career journey while being part of a team supporting services that improve the health and wellbeing of children, young people and families.
This isn't just about learning how to do a job. You'll work towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, building professional knowledge, practical skills and experience you can take forward throughout your career. Your apprenticeship training, workshops, portfolio work and reviews will all take place during your working hours.
Alongside your studies, you'll become a valued part of our administration team. You'll respond to enquiries, support meetings and events, help organise goods and services and often be a first point of contact for children, young people, families and professionals.
You'll be learning, developing and contributing from day one, with people around you to help you grow.
The qualification is only one part of it. You'll gain hands on experience, build new skills and have the opportunity to see where a career with Compass could take you.
There’s plenty to learn, plenty to get involved in and plenty of opportunity to grow. And while you’re developing your own skills, you’ll be part of an organisation doing incredible work with children, young people and families every day. If that sounds like a challenge worth taking on, keep reading.
You'll be organised, approachable and comfortable talking to different people. You'll care about getting things right, enjoy being part of a team and be willing to learn as your confidence and experience grow.
You'll bring:
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths at Grade A to C, or equivalent
- Experience of working in a busy office and customer service environment
- Experience of working to deadlines and managing different priorities
- Good IT, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, empathy and personal integrity
- A positive, flexible and solution focused approach
- A full driving licence and access to a car, or the ability to travel independently as required
Experience using management information systems, digital technology or social media, alongside an IT or customer care qualification, would be useful but isn't essential.
Your experience might come from work, life, study or somewhere completely different. What matters is what you bring with you and your willingness to keep learning. Sound like something you'd be interested in? We'd love to see your apply!
