WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
With Customer Service, you'll play a vital role in keeping passengers safe while delivering outstanding customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting passengers with luggage, pushchairs and accessibility needs
- Providing excellent customer service and travel information
- Maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming station environment
- Responding calmly and professionally to incidents and challenging situations
- Monitoring station security and reporting issues in line with railway procedures
- Working closely with station staff to ensure services run safely and efficiently
- Keeping station areas clean, tidy and presentable
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for people who:
- Have previous customer service experience
- Enjoy working with people face-to-face
- Stay calm under pressure and enjoy solving problems
- Are confident communicators
- Take pride in providing excellent customer service
- Can work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
- Can travel to various stations in Essex at 06:00am.
- Can work when there are events/ Rail replacements.
- Part time Work is available.
BEFORE YOU APPLY

- Pass a pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol medical
- Provide proof of Right to Work in the UK and National Insurance documentation
- Have a good standard of spoken English in line with the requirements of the role
WORKING PATTERN
This is a temporary position. Shift lengths vary, however they are typically around 8 hours, with opportunities to work longer shifts when available. Please note that, due to the nature of railway operations, weekly hours can vary depending on client requirements and are across 7 days a week (weekend work is included). Whilst additional hours are often available, they cannot be guaranteed
