Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team and assist in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients, maintaining equipment and instruments, and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the dental surgery
- Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Manage stock control of dental materials
- Follow practice protocols and guidelines
Skills:
- Proficient in IT systems for maintaining patient records
- Excellent command of English language for effective communication with patients and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
- Previous experience as a nurse is advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
