Part-Time Sports Coach
Sports Elite Ltd are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Sports Coach to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering after-school clubs and nursery sports sessions across schools and nurseries in Croydon, creating a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children to participate in sports and physical activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver after-school clubs and nursery sports sessions (including Gymnastics, Netball, Basketball,Hockey,Football, and Multi-Sports).
- Create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that meet the interests and developmental needs of children.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during sessions.
- Encourage active participation and inclusion from all children.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and energetic environment.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding updates or any concerns related to their child’s participation.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of sessions and clubs.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in an educational, coaching, or recreational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and build positive relationships with children of different age groups.
- Strong organisation and session planning skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule.
- First Aid and DBS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Working Hours (Term Time)
- Monday: 3:20pm – 4:30pm
- Tuesday: 10:00am – 11:45am & 3:20pm – 4:30pm
- Wednesday: 3:20pm – 4:30pm
- Thursday: 9-11am, 2-2:30pm 3:20pm – 4:30
- Friday: 3:20pm – 4:30pm
Additional hours may be available during term time and holiday camps.

Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Must have access to a car and be able to reliably commute to Croydon.
