We have an immediate opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator, to work at our production facility in Clay Cross.
The role includes the fabrication and assembly light commercial vehicle parts of various materials including GRP, aluminium and steel.
Key Responsibilities
· Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals to determine job requirements and set-up procedures.
· Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG and TIG welding. Experience TIG welding Aluminium is essential.
· Measure, cut, and shape metal materials with precision tools including saws and Grinders.
· Inspect finished welds for structural soundness and compliance with specification standards, making adjustments as needed.
· Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, hand tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
· Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and improve fabrication processes.
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
