Role Purpose
To operate, set, and maintain injection moulding production processes to achieve safety, output, quality, and efficiency targets. The role is primarily production-focused, supporting the Team Leader in delivering production performance and maintaining process stability and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Skills & Experience
· Experience in Injection Moulding plastic component manufacture
· Competency in machine setting, process understanding, polymer knowledge.
· Health & safety awareness, including safe working practices around machinery, tools, moulds, lifting equipment, and hot materials
· Quality awareness, attention to detail, ability to solve problems
· Ability to follow SOPs and structured processes
· Good communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
· Set and operate Injection mould machines to the required quality and output standards
· Achieve production targets for output, quality, and delivery
· Monitor process parameters and adjust settings to maintain consistency
· Carry out tooling setups, changeovers and handling of mould tools safely and efficiently
· Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections
· Identify basic process issues and escalate to Team Leader where required
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production processes
· Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
· Support housekeeping, 5S, and continuous improvement activities
· Provide cover for operator breaks and holidays as needed to ensure continuous production.
· Operate a forklift safely and efficiently as required within the production area.
· Work closely with the Team Leader to improve shopfloor performance

Hours
48hrs per week Monday to Thursday 6am to 6pm with some flexibility to work nights ( with an hourly rate of £15.75 - 6pm to 6am) due to the needs of the business.
