Glaze Machine Operative – Pottery
Full-Time | Temp-to-Permanent | £12.81 per hour
Blink Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Glaze Machine Operative to join an established pottery manufacturer in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a fast-paced ceramic production environment. Full training will be provided.
The Role
As a Glaze Machine Operative, you will support the production of ceramic ware by operating machinery used to apply glaze to finished products.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Operating a glaze machine safely and efficiently
- Applying glaze to ceramic ware in line with quality standards
- Carrying out basic fault finding
- Inspecting products and identifying defects
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Standing for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
- Working efficiently within a fast-paced production environment
About You
Previous pottery or manufacturing experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.

Hours of Work
- Four days on, four days off
- 12-hour day shifts
- This shift pattern means you will work approximately half of the days in the year
Pay and Contract
- £12.81 per hour
- Full-time hours
- Temp-to-permanent opportunity
- 12-week probationary period
- Genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position following successful completion of the probationary period
