Play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering Next Home furnishings safely and on time while providing an exceptional customer experience.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Working as part of a two-person delivery team, delivering Next Home furnishings directly to customers' homes.
Safely handling and delivering large items ranging from 5kg to 120kg while providing excellent customer service.
Completing between 10 and 40 deliveries per day, depending on route and customer requirements.
Conducting vehicle checks and following all health and safety procedures throughout the working day.
Working a rotation shift pattern, including regular weekend shifts, with start times from 6:00am and finish times typically around 4:30pm, route dependent.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Hold a valid HGV driving licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
Enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and acting as the face of DHL and Next in customers' homes.
Have home delivery experience, although this is desirable rather than essential.
Are comfortable with physical work, including the safe handling of large and heavy items.
Are newly qualified or experienced drivers looking to develop their skills, with full support available through our buddy system and assessment process.
