Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Senior Marketing Specialist who be responsible for driving the agencies internal marketing efforts across all traditional and digital channels.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience formulating and implementing strategies that contribute to the acquisition, retention and reengagement of existing and prospective clients, through the application of suitable brand awareness and lead generation tactics.
While there is an expectation that the successful candidate will get involved in the day-to-day execution of digital marketing activity, the position will be supported by internal specialists across SEO, PPC, Design and other technical disciplines.
We’re looking for someone who understands the holistic digital marketing landscape, comfortable across the full mix rather than deep in one niche; and wants to be at the forefront of application.
Key Responsibilities
Core Marketing Activities:
- Formulating campaign planning and execution (Owning the content/marketing calendar, ensuring coordinated activity across all channels)
- Project managing and contributing to the agency's new website (ongoing content, functionality, design, and maintenance - UI & UX)
- Working collaboratively with internal specialists (SEO, PPC, Design & Tech Devs)
- Creating and scheduling social media posts (multi-platform)
- Creating email automation programmes
- Developing affiliate programmes
- Coordinating PR and thought leadership opportunities
- Researching, identifying, and implementing new digital marketing trends
Internal Relationship Management
- Understand the agency's goals, priorities, and expectations, ensuring these are clearly delivered through appropriate marketing activities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for internal teams, leading regular communications
- Act as brand guardian internally, ensuring consistency of tone, visual identity, and messaging across all teams and touchpoints
Delivery
- Manage and oversee the delivery of work against agreed monthly expectations
- Ensure all internal requirements are clearly defined, scheduled, and delivered on time
- Maintain a strong focus on quality control across all deliverables
Reporting & Performance
- Tracking performance across channels (e.g. GA4, social insights, email metrics) and translating data into actionable recommendations)
- Set and track KPIs against agreed marketing objectives (e.g. lead volume, brand awareness metrics, engagement rates)
- Ensure stakeholders receive regular updates and performance reports
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, processes, or internal stakeholder satisfaction
Skills & Experience
- 5+ Years experience in a similar digital marketing role
- Practical, hands-on experience delivery of multi-channel digital marketing disciplines
- Strong written communication skills
- Confident communicator
- Highly organised and able to work independently
- Familiarity with project management or CRM tools
