We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our powder coating and roller shutter manufacturing business. This is a varied, hands-on role that involves working both in our workshop and on customer sites as part of a small team.
4 days per week:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8.00 - 16.00 with half an hour lunch
Friday 8.00 - 15.00 with half an hour lunch
Additonal hours available during busy periods.
Key Duties:
Working as part of a two-person team within the powder coating workshop.
Preparing, hanging and powder coating steelwork including gates, railings and other metal products.
Manufacturing steel roller shutters and garage doors.
Assisting with the installation of roller shutters and garage doors on customer sites.
Safely lifting, moving and maneuvering large and sometimes heavy items.
Following instructions while also developing the confidence to work independently as experience is gained.
Essential Requirements
Experience in either the powder coating industry or the roller shutter industry.
Full UK driving license.
Aged 21 or over for vehicle insurance purposes.
Physically fit and capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy objects safely.
Good practical skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative when required.
