Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and friendly independent firm based in Central London in their search for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team and work directly with clients, representing the firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nearly qualified or qualified accountant looking step into a senior level role across audit and accounts within a close-knit and collaborative environment. The role offers a 40% audit and 60% accounts splits alongside the opportunity to work with a varied portfolio acting as a direct point of contact.
Key Responsibilities

Assist on leading audits from planning through to completion

Prepare statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and tax compliance work for a varied client portfolio

Supporting junior staff on audits, providing mentoring and assisting in reviewing their work

Act as one of the key point of contact for clients

Represent the firm professionally across client engagements
Key Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (ideally only advanced exams remaining)

Minimum 5 years' experience within practice

Strong experience across both audit and accounts with experience in leading audits

Confident managing client relationships

Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable approach

Experience with IRIS software beneficial
