Rutland Hall Hotel is set in a stunning location on the shores of Rutland Water. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences to our guests, as such we are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor who is passionate about providing wow experiences through service and the delivery of food and drink.
This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times. You will lead by example and be well presented, able to communicate with people at all levels and to act professionally at all times.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the highest level of service is delivered to all guests and visitors
- Proactively welcoming and greeting all guests and visitors to the Restaurant
- Supervise the set up of the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and ready
- Seating guests offering them menus, drinks and providing explanations of the menu when required
- Dealing efficiently and courteously with all guest queries
- Delivering a full table service during the time the guest is present
- Ensuring the restaurant environment is always maintained and cleaned to a high standard both during and after service
- Delivering consistent, exceptional service in line with the luxury standards and training junior team members
- Liaising with the kitchen team on stock availability, informing the food & beverage team of any unavailable items.
- Handling cash, credit/debit card procedures, and to carry out till operations, including cashing up and depositing cash at the closure of a shift
Our successful Supervisor will have:
- A professional and proactive approach to guest service
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- The ability to work under pressure and to multi task
- Possess a strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- Relish the pressure of a busy restaurant environment
