Experienced glazier required for busy glazing and shop front maintenance company based in Croydon.
Applicants must:
- be able to measure accurately and, if needed, suggest potential materials and finishes to satisfy the client
- be able to work within a team of glaziers in larger projects
- be able to cut, fix, modify and fit sheet glass into position on site
- have a good understanding of common-sense health and safety concerns –this is paramount as glass is a highly hazardous material
- have a good appreciation in terms of being able to leave the site in a clean condition, and well secured against intrusion
The ability to change door closers and locks would be a bonus but not essential.
Applicant must live within a 10 mile radius of Croydon, must drive and be over the age of 25 (for fleet insurance purposes).
Working hours - Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm and every other Saturday 7am - 4.30pm.
