Howard Finley is currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Surrey for an experienced Advanced Social Worker to join their established Children Looked After (CLA) Team.
Salary: £49,000 – £53,000 per annum
Welcome/Retention Bonus: Up to £6,000
Location: Surrey
Team: Children Looked After (CLA)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children's Social Worker looking to progress their career within a supportive and established service.
As an Advanced Social Worker within the CLA Team, you will work with children in care, supporting their safety, development and long-term outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to take on more complex work, support less experienced practitioners and contribute to the development of practice across the team.
The role offers a strong opportunity for professional development and progression within Children's Services.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced and committed Children's Social Worker with:
- Relevant Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
- Strong experience within Children's Services
- Experience working with children looked after / care planning
- Ability to manage complex cases effectively
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
