Hello, we’re Heidi.
Heidi is a growing independent bakery and coffee-shop group with locations across London and the South East.
Our philosophy is simple: let the food and coffee do the talking.
Our bakery team makes our food from scratch, from croissants and pastries to cakes, savouries and sandwiches. Alongside this, we take coffee seriously, using excellent beans, equipment and training to make sure every cup is served to a consistently high standard.
Richmond is a busy store, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can stay calm and organised when things get busy, and genuinely enjoys looking after customers.
What you'll be doing
As part of our Front of House team, you'll:
- Deliver warm, friendly and efficient service to our customers.
- Prepare and serve consistently great coffee and other drinks.
- Learn our bakery range so you can confidently help and advise customers.
- Serve and present our food to Heidi's standards.
- Work closely with the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
- Operate the till and process customer orders accurately.
- Keep the counter, coffee area and customer spaces clean, organised and welcoming.
- Follow our food safety, hygiene and operating procedures.
- Help create a positive atmosphere for both customers and the rest of the team.
Who we're looking for
You'll be a good fit if you:

- Can work quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality.
- Are reliable and punctual.
- Take pride in keeping your workplace clean and well presented.
- Have a flexible attitude to working hours.
- Are comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment.
Previous hospitality or barista experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
Full training on our coffee, products and service standards will be provided.
Availability
This is a full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week on a rota.
You will need to be flexible and available for a mixture of shifts, including weekends and early starts.
Please make sure you can reliably travel to Heidi Richmond for your scheduled shifts before applying.
