Responsibilities
As a Senior Commercial Gas Engineer, you will:
- Repair, maintain, and service commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems
- Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics to ensure the efficient operation of commercial gas systems
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality services to council properties and facilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Participate in overtime opportunities as required to meet project deadlines and client needs
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Valid commercial gas tickets (essential)
- Ideally, an NVQ qualification or a strong engineering background
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing commercial boilers, plant rooms, and building plant systems
- A proactive and mission-driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering excellence
- A full UK driving licence
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
- Travelling to various sites across Hertfordshire and North East London to carry out maintenance and repair tasks
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with commercial gas systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
- Keeping detailed records of work completed and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Engaging with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with the services provided
