E.L Contract Services Ltd is looking for flexible, reliable people to join our team for a mixture of relief cover, specialist cleaning and project work across the Midlands.
This isn't your typical cleaning vacancy.
The work changes. The locations change. The hours change.
And that's exactly the point.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This is a flexible position designed around the additional, relief and project work that comes into our business.
There are no set days or standard weekly pattern. Work is offered as it becomes available and opportunities can range from shorter local cleans to full project days.
Some weeks may offer more opportunities than others.
We have work available during the week and at weekends, although weekend availability is not compulsory.
This could suit somebody looking for additional income alongside another job, somebody with flexibility during the week, or simply somebody who doesn't want to be tied to the same workplace and routine every day.
WHAT COULD YOU BE DOING?
Depending on the day or project, you could be involved in:
- Commercial and office cleaning
- Construction and post-build cleaning
- Industrial cleaning
- Deep cleans and one-off projects
- Holiday property changeovers
- Relief cover at established customer sites
- Specialist cleaning projects
- Working alongside our existing teams on larger contracts
Some environments can be physically demanding, dirty and muddy. Others require extremely high standards of presentation and attention to detail.
You need to be comfortable with both.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're less concerned about finding somebody with the perfect cleaning CV and more interested in finding the right type of person.
Someone reliable, practical, adaptable and willing to get stuck in.
You'll need to be comfortable walking into different environments, working with different members of our team and adapting to what the job requires that day.
Previous cleaning experience is useful, but attitude, reliability and common sense matter more to us.
Because the work takes place across various locations, a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are highly advantageous.
For some projects, you may travel from our head office in a company vehicle with the rest of the team.
HOURS
Flexible / Ad Hoc
There are no guaranteed fixed weekly hours attached to this position.
Work is offered depending on project requirements, customer demand, staff cover and availability.
You don't have to accept every opportunity that becomes available. However, once you accept and commit to a shift, we expect you to turn up and work it.
Weekday and weekend opportunities are available, but weekend working is not compulsory.
PAY
Rates of pay vary depending on the type of work, location, working hours and project requirements.
The applicable rate will always be made clear when work is offered.
