JOB SUMMARY
As Audit Manager, you will lead internal audit and quality assurance for all funded programmes. You will check that delivery meets funding body rules and our internal standards. Your findings will drive action, so teams fix issues and improve practice. You already work in audit, quality assurance or compliance. In this role, your work protects the quality of funded provision for people across the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Protect our funding and reputation: You will plan and deliver internal audits that check funded programmes meet funding body rules and internal standards.
- Keep funded provision on track: You will review learner files and funding claims to catch errors early. People keep receiving what they are entitled to.
- Turn audit findings into improvements: You will work with delivery teams to close non-compliance actions and track progress until issues are resolved.
- Represent us in external audits and inspections: You will report monthly on findings and progress to senior leaders. You will be clear about what is working and what is not.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- You have experience in internal audit, quality assurance or compliance.
- You know funding body rules and compliance requirements in detail.
- You are confident with numbers and data. You can interpret evidence and spot risk.
- You communicate clearly. You can write audit reports and explain findings to non-specialists.
