Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of medications, providing support to pharmacists and healthcare staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications, dosages, and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Keep the pharmacy environment organised and clean, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role within a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
