Summary
We are seeking a Powder Coat Sprayer to join our team in Somerset. Based in our workshop, you will play a vital role in applying powder coatings to our steel fabrications, ensuring a smooth finish and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning and masking as needed.
- Operate powder coating spray equipment efficiently and safely.
- Apply powder coatings evenly to various steel fabrications.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
- Maintain and clean spray equipment regularly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist with other fabrication tasks as required.
- Support the team in meeting production deadlines.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with powder coating or spray painting.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing.
- Experience working in a fabrication or workshop environment preferred.
- Knowledge of welding or general steel fabrication is advantageous.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
