Small Residential Care Home in Inverness looking for a good cook to join us.
Main Responsibilities:
· Plan meals and baking suitable for client group by referring to their list of special diets and food preferences.
· Present meals attractively and in portion sizes as required/requested by each resident.
· Understand and meet the needs of the different textured diets required by our residents.
· Maintains supplies inventory by checking/rotating stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt.
· Maintains a hygienic kitchen by adhering to health and hygiene standards, storage, refrigeration requirements, temperature control, cleaning equipment.
Shift Times:
08.00 to 18:00 Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri & Sat
08.00 to 15:00 Wed & Sun
Required for 5 days a week on a rotational basis.
