Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Holiday Cover Cleaner to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities during staff absences or peak periods. As a Holiday Cover Cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of commercial cleaning across various areas, supporting the overall cleanliness and presentation of our premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including offices, restrooms, corridors, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying waste bins regularly
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure facilities are fully stocked at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to the appropriate personnel for swift resolution
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently throughout your shift
- Support additional ad hoc cleaning tasks as required during busy periods or special events
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible in covering shifts as needed during holiday periods or staff absences
