This position requires the following criteria
- To hold a full HGV (Class 2) licence with preferably some experience with hooklifts and chain wagons.
- To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/ Driver CPC
- To own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- To be reliable, with excellent timekeeping
- To have good communication skills
- To have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
- To have a positive and professional attitude
The role is a driver role to drive skip and Ro-Ro vehicles, but some flexibility will be expected. Experience in the use of Chain Lift Skips, including some manual sheeting, and Ro-Ro Hooklift skips is desirable and the role is delivering and collecting chain skips and Ro-Ro skips from businesses in the North of Manchester.
Experience of the recycling industry is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a well-established family owned business.
The role is based in Manchester/Old Trafford and would be commutable from surrounding areas. Parking facilities are available for staff.
Hours of Work are 45 hours per week with no nights out
