Serious and experienced REGULAR dog walker needed in South West London - SW1 and SW11 in particular Belgravia and Battersea.
Please have a passion for dogs and experience in handling them as this is a serious position and not a hobby.
Walks take place Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00.
Dog walkers are hired on a freelance self-employed basis and require their own dog walking insurance as well as a DBS check.

Duties
- Take dogs on scheduled walks, ensuring they are safe, happy, and well-exercised
- Monitor dogs’ behaviour during walks and respond appropriately to their needs
- Maintain a clean and organised approach to handling equipment such as leashes, harnesses, and waste bags
- Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets’ behaviour or any concerns during walks
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding individual care requirements
- Assist with basic animal care tasks if required, including feeding or administering medication (training provided)
- Ensure the safety of all animals under your supervision at all times during outings
Experience
- Previous veterinary experience or animal care background is preferred but not essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Physical strength for heavy lifting when handling equipment or assisting with larger dogs
- Genuine love for animals and a responsible attitude towards their safety and comfort
- Ability to work independently and adhere to scheduled appointments reliably
