Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team working for a well followed Chef at a very popular out of town venue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a focus on food preparation and production. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and supervising kitchen staff.
Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and menus.
- Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes.
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and best practices in food preparation.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
