We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich and Salad Prep to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of fresh salads, sandwiches and ingredients, ensuring that all food safety and culinary standards are met. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and presentation of our product range, contributing to a delightful dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of fresh salads and ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
- Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches/rolls and ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the overall food preparation process, ensuring all items are prepped in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assemble dishes as required.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in training sessions on culinary techniques and food safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A basic understanding of food safety principles and practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques related to food preparation is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of food quality.

Job will be across Monday - Saturday with one day off. 6am start essential. Training in Newtownards store and final location in Dundonald
