Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete multiple deliveries across various locations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules
- Load, secure, and unload goods with care, ensuring all items are transported without damage
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete necessary documentation accurately
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior throughout shifts
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, particularly with multi-drop routes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with commercial driving regulations
- Experience working with panel vans or similar transportation equipment is highly desirable
- Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local roads and delivery areas
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to stay focused, organized, and proactive during long driving shifts
