Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude
- Take accurate orders while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and service stations
- Manage cash registers or point-of-sale systems with precision during transactions
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking efficiently and managing time effectively
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience or familiarity with food service operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members alike
- Upselling abilities to recommend menu items confidently and increase sales
