Bakery Shop Assistant – Join Our Team at BEK Sourdough Bakery!
Location: Southampton, UK
Position: Part-time
Salary: Starting at minimum wage (with potential increases over time)
Shifts:
- Tuesday – Friday: Morning (6:00 AM – 12:00 PM) or Afternoon (12:00 PM – 5:00PM)
- Every Saturday: 6:00 AM – 13:00 PM
We are looking for an experienced Bakery Shop Assistant to join our team at BEK Sourdough Bakery. If you have a passion for high-quality baked goods and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this role is for you!
Your Responsibilities:
- Serving customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Handling sales transactions and managing the till
- Keeping the shop well-stocked and organized
- Making coffee and handling basic barista duties
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the shop
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality is required
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Willingness to learn and adapt to bakery operations
