We are looking for a self-motivated team player who can help us on this journey, taking initiative and contributing effectively.
As a member of our CAD team, you will produce high quality design layout drawings for workshop garage equipment installations at the required specification and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Using computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCad LT 2012/2015) software
- Creating, amending and finalising layout drawings including layout of workshop garage equipment (and associated construction drawings as required)
- The ability to interact at all levels, including customers, design architects and building contractors
- Interpretation and re-creation of rough sketches from the sales force into professional, detailed and accurate drawings
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining an organised file system for all drawings and associated templates for ease of use
- Effective internal communication with the sales team and project managers
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the use of CAD Design software / equivalent degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy ensuring drawings are done within SLA time frames
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude towards finding solutions and solving customer problems
- Confident and able to work under own initiative.

Basic salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on relevant knowledge and skills
