A welcoming and inclusive primary SEND school in Liverpool (L9) is looking for a graduates to join the team from September, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The school is flexible on year group placement, allowing you to gain experience across different ages and needs.
The Role:
This specialist SEN setting supports children aged 5–11 with a range of complex additional needs. As part of the role, you'll provide classroom support alongside personal care, helping pupils to access learning while supporting their daily care and wellbeing. Although the role can be demanding, it offers an incredibly rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and have a lasting impact on the lives of children who benefit from consistent, dedicated support.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs
- Delivering small-group interventions
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Building confidence, communication, and social skills
- Reinforcing learning within the classroom
- Working collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff
